Description
Heinz Ebeling
Messerschmitt Bf-109 (Me-109)
Heinz Ebeling would initiate his combat career over the skies of France and shot down three aircraft during the Battle of France by late May 1940 (1 French Morane 406 and 2 Hawker Hurricanes). He would claim a total of 5 victories before the onset of the Battle of Britain. As the Luftwaffe prepared for 'Operation Sea Lion', Heinz Ebeling was promoted to Staffelkapitan of 9./JG 26. After a flying accident with his wingman over England, both pilots would become prisoners of war for the remainder of WWII. Heinz Ebeling would claim 18 victories with the Luftwaffe.
This fine art print includes an aged background designed from an actual World War II military map. A timeless design for any decor!
