How To Get A Refund From Membership?

I signed up for the membership ($30/yr) but this platform isn't for me and I want to close my account. It said there's a 30 day "free trial" when signing up for the premium membership and that I could get a refund. I've tried contacting Pixels/FAA and I cannot get a hold of anyone about getting a refund.

I can't find anything on this at all. I'm hoping someone can help me here, or at least the very least point me in the right direction or who I can contact.

Thank you!

Hey Nicholas--if you have just joined and paid your $30. premium subscription--why not give it a year and see how you fare with marketing, visibility and such..?
Best!, Tim

You don't have to close your account you can revert to the free account. Abbie can do that for you. Artists can't do that .

@tim - I thought about it but I just don't have the time to participate in trying to get eyes on my page. I thought this was a marketplace, but its really not. I haven't had time to do anything in the last couple weeks on here and it has zero views. I just want to get my $30 back and close my account and find a different way. Thank you though!

Understand Nicholas--I viewed your site and you have some artful images...Jessica had a good suggestion.......
In the end you know what you would like to do....wish you the best Sir, Tim

Whats the harm in keeping your free account? Many do that and don't market or promote, but you can still get a sale. If you leave then there will be no sales at all.

You have to advertise and tell people you are here if you want views. In any case try asking again, a gmail account works best. The mail is often erased before you get to see it. But I would use the free account. Or in your case, 2 free accounts.

Just curious as to why people try to convince people to not leave, especially given the ever increasing number of potential competitors joining the site.
It's not as if we are making any money by them staying.

David, I wonder the samething. I wanted to try Pixels/FAA because a friend of mine told me about it but I already spend so much time on social media and online in general, I just don't have enough time to consistent participate in this platform to try to make one sale when its so incredibly saturated here. For others to get it to work for them, that's great! I'm happy for them but for me, I know deep down that its not gonna work. Which is why I am planning going back to Etsy where I actually did have success and they provided traffic without me having to do it so I should go back where I had success.

You could have just joined for free to see how you like it, Nicholas.

I did for a little while but was told that the premium account provided more traffic but I was wrong about that.

I am with David Smith.

FAA just isn't for everyone.

When someone says they don't have the time to put into marketing, that suggests to me it is not for them.

Great art Nicholas, best of luck to you whatever you decide.

Nicholas, you've got some great art and sorry to see you go. However, I realize that actually working at developing a business is not for everyone.

Maybe revert to a free account...you are limited to 25 images, but try some serious marketing like the rest of us who make sales. Your work is awesome! It's worth a try...You can check out our #BuyIntoArt campaign...good luck!

We try to help talk people off the ledge. But if they want to jump anyway, I don't stop them after that. But if you do jump, do a fancy flip, that makes it fun.

Ok, here i go...

I've refunded you so you're now on a free account

That free account gives you 25 images and a ton of advice from people who do sell.

If you just leave you've got to start yet again, and then what... You don't like that account and you close that one and then start yet again?

You're here. Load some images... You've already started to build a business.

I agree with Abbie, you lose absolutely nothing by having a free account here and you never know who is going to see your work even if you don't market it. If you keyword well and write a good description you will show up in some searches. It costs you absolutely no time or effort just to leave what you have already uploaded in a free account. Also, several of us also sell on Etsy, it certainly doesn't have to be one or the other.

Thank you Abbie! Sorry for being a nuisance!

The replies were starting to convince to stay but since I got my refund now, I don't know if its worth it now. Maybe I can keep the free account it for now and only list 25 of my best photos, I don't know. I'm just finding it incredibly difficult here and there's so many amazing artists here, I don't feel I stand a chance to make a sale. I guess I'm not understanding how this place works.

Thanks everyone for the kind replies! I wish you luck too.

It takes a while to get established, the summer is usually slow, for me anyway, and the economy isn't great. Just advertise a little every day. It all depends on who finds you first and if its something they want. You can make a few accounts if you have different emails. But that's a pain to manage.

Hoe do you revert back to the free account? I cannot find any way to do that...anywhere!

Do you want to?

Nicholas, I’ve been here quite a few years. I don’t have the first clue how to market or work the system. Even if I did, I don’t have the time or inclination. I get sales anyway even though my stuff isn’t outstanding among the competition. That covers the fee and gives me extra play money, so there’s nothing to lose by letting my stuff sit here. If you keep your free account, even if you don’t market, you’ll have nothing to lose either.

Appears Nicholas has left the building.

Yeah... We will deal with Susan if she sends me a message, or a support ticket
