How Not To Sell Something

Hello

If you choose not to sell something, leave the space for markup totally blank. Not even a space.

You cannot choose between canvas, metal, acrylic, framed or paper prints etc. Only the products or all the prints

Search pages (such as particular product searches) take 24 hours after the prices added to be shown

i so wish sean adopted my idea and just give us a check box if we don't want to sell a size or a section. so its easy, obvious and fast. especially when they can't print, the size is removed, if you update prices, the size is back again.

they tend to go back in their shell like a turtle. and just sort of spin a mile into the earth. or at least that's what it sounded like when i dropped a few rocks on it after.

New around here, but I second Mike's suggestion. Setting the mark-up amount to zero is non-obvious (it's why I came to the forums), a checkbox to enable/disable a product type for sale is much more obvious and simpler (for the user).

Not a zero

You don't even have to tick a Box

Just don't price them. Nothing. Not even a zero

When I read the title my first thought was - I am good at that! LOL

The point still stands, zero, non-zero, empty, nothing, whatever, the lack of a clearly labelled checkbox to enable/disable sales of an item is non-obvious and a UI faux pas.

i wonder if the title should say - how to remove items for sale.

i've always thought the check is the best way. especially when you reprice things. it should stay protected. more so if i don't want to sell something now, but do later, i have to look up the prices and fill them again. a check box would just darken it and the price would still be in there. or if i wanted to show a picture without selling it, i have to remove like 30 prices.
