Artist's Description

The crisp silence of a frosty morning puts you in awe of the spectacle and instantly arouses the feeling that you are glad to be alive and thankful to be able to experience this moment. This is freedom. You hesitate to break the silence but the attraction is too great. You begin to glide; your arms swing up and push back; you get into a cross-country rhythm, laying tracks to the sound of whispering snow.

Whispering Tracks image was used on Christmas cards by the Canadian Olympic Association. Your inquiries into the commission of your own original sports action painting in watercolor, oil or acrylic paint or as a sports wall mural are welcome!

CONTACT ME for painting commissions and inquiries about original paintings. Born in Aachen, Germany, I grew up in Ontario, Canada, where I still live with my husband (the love of my life) and family, from which comes the inspiration for much of my work. My vibrant watercolors, acrylic and oil paintings cannot be labelled in only one category. My paintings reflect my life: enriched with excitement as well as quiet times. My fascination with capturing a flash of movement in a motionless art form is evident in my sports paintings and energetic portraits.
