...A Brush of Life... inspired by everyday life and intrigued by family; the closeness, the struggles and the heritage we leave. I keep my sketchbook close by and find myself making quick sketches and making note of colors, shapes, textures and ideas I might use for future paintings. As far back as I can remember I had a love for art and always sketched and doodled. I painted houses for a few summers when I was younger, more recently faux painting for a couple years and had a job managing a restaurant for about eight years, that allowed me to mess around and express a little of my minds eye on a number of chalkboards.
