About Irma Seabury
Irma Seabury was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, August 27th, 1948. She came to the United States at the age of 3, and was brought up in Brooklyn by two wonderful parents, Antonio and Julia Gonzalez. The youngest of five children, Irma herself has two children which she raised in Rockaway Beach, New York. She has been writing poetry all her life and in 1999 she developed a passion for painting which she continues to pursue. She is self-taught and her art is eclectic, covering a wide variety of topics, primarily concerned with people, emotions, and myths, on a variety of media and surfaces.
