The distinctive red and white striped West Quoddy Head Lighthouse stands watch on a moonlit night at the easternmost point in the US in Downeast Maine along a region known as the Bold Coast. The luminous lighthouse stands above a rocky shoreline with velvet soft blue water below and a deep blue sky with star trails above. Bill Caldwell has always loved hiking and the outdoors so his artistic photography is based in the natural world--landscapes, seascapes, and macro/close-ups of flowers, leaves, rocks, and driftwood, as well as abstracts created from his macro images. After earning his BA degree in industrial and scientific photography in 1978, he spent 20 years in the US Air Force as a Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) navigator. Now he's pursuing his lifelong love of landscape and artistic photography along with his enduring interest in spirituality including certification in Integrated Energy Therapy (IET).
