Description
Thanksgiving has just ended. Everything is about Christmas coming soon. The houses in our neighborhood are being festooned in colorful lights and yard decorations. This pretty poinsettia caught my eye at the grocery store. It was one of many that were very similar but it inspired me to paint. The pot was really a white plastic thing that just didn't do it justice. I obviously changed that to a red clay pot. I painted this alfresco in acrylic paint. It pleased me to keep it fairly loose in style.
