Description
Here is another bird's eye view of my signature interpretation of farmers transplanting rice in a colorful muddy field. Para sa Araw ng Bukas roughly translates to For Tomorrow. The title of this piece is the last line of the popular Filipino farming song entitled Magtanim ay Di Biro - translated to Planting is Hard Work. The song emphasizes the work needed to plant rice. The body aches. Rest is needed because tomorrow nard work is expected once more. The title of this piece also connotes for me, working hard and reaping the rewards in the future.
