In this self-portrait, she was wearing a piece of pre-Columbian jewelry. She seems overcome her unhappiness from the miscarriage and looks fresh and attractive. She expressed greater self-confidence compared to her previous self-portraits. And in this painting for the first time she depicted herself with a shadow of a mustache.
