Peculiar breathing and other sounds emminated form the pitch black of the pre-moonrise forest near Glacier Point in Yosemite. A photo with a distant flash and no ability to focus captured this creepy image of what turned out to be a coyote. Darkness seamed to give him more courage than might be expected.
