Description
I spent many an hour on the CG 40300. This painting depicts our weekly run from Escanaba LTSTA to Minneapolis Shoals LTSTA. The 40300 was a unique boat in the Coast Guard. A one of a kind that was built as a replacement for wooden marine life boats of the era and was the prototype to the Coast Guard 44 footer. It was also the smallest boat in the Coast Guard authorized to break ice. Check out my website www.CG40300.com for the complete history of this unique CG Marine Life Boat
