My style is about the brush strokes ( palette knife ) and composition. The beauty is in what the viewer constructs in their minds eye and the creativity is in the suggestion of reality rather than the rendering of it!

BIOGRAPHY: John’s creative drive evolved while growing up among artistic family members in Venice, Florida. John has sketched and painted throughout his life and after a successful career in the corporate world; he departed in 1996 to focus on his art. He has attended selected art classes at the University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College, as well as many seminars. Part of the educational process was a six-week tour of Europe visiting most of the major museums to absorb the essence of art history. John is active in the art community: he is founder and current board member of the North Tampa Arts League, has been a board member of the Arts Council of Hillsborough County and is a member (past chairman) of the Artist...
