Description
We travel a well worn path through alternating sunshine and shadow that carries us among clouds of blooming azaleas and graceful dogwood trees down to Tridelphia Lake. The Brighton Dam Azalea Gardens in Montgomery County, MD in early May is the place to be when you crave the peace and release of nature. After a not uncommon rainy spring, the sudden sunny morning magnifies the brilliance of the colors ... and calls us to come and enjoy!
The azalea garden is situated on the banks of the Patuxent River, by Brighton Dam (built in 1942). The 5 acre garden has over 20,000 azaleas and is provided by the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission. It's located just off of New Hampshire Avenue, on Brighton Dam Road, Brookeville, Maryland, USA, MD 20833. Opening times Daily during the blooming season. Open 9am to 7pm.

Products and fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... wall-art purchases will look their very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
