Our neighbour's combi van waiting for its next holiday! The light was shining on it at just the right hopeful angle. Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. I was playing with the idea it's not what you see it is how you see it, with the Pukeora Shed Series.
Laura is a full time artist who is a committed and passionate learner. ( Art like gardening I find, the more you learn the more you realise you don't know.) She works mainly in acrylic as she feels this medium gives her the flexibility to experiment and keep her work fresh, dynamic and interesting. This helps her to tell her thoughts and feelings for each piece she creates. She loves colour and creating atmosphere, be it be moody or happy. She is greatly influenced by the environment around her. It speaks to her and tells her the story of what to paint. She lives in the beautiful Hawkes Bay of New Zealand. She is surrounded by stunning scenery and is a passionate gardener also, so no surprise that she is drawn to landscapes also...
