Description
Walter Ufer (1876-1936) Kentucky-born
artist and lithographer Ufer studied and worked in both Chicago
and Germany. Upon his first trip to New Mexico, Ufer fell in love
with the Southwest countryside, and returned there for several
months every year as a member of the Taos Society of Artists.
