You didn't say which OS you're running it on. Try updating your graphics and Open GL drivers.

Windows 7 Enterprise. We're in the process of building me a new machine and I think we had the same problem on there too. I don't recall because it's been a few months, been waiting for graphics card prices to come down.

Watch Newegg. GC prices have been coming down for a while now and Newegg seems to focus heavily on GC deals daily. AMD seems to be coming down faster than NVIDIA, but either way things appear to be getting back to normal.

Time your purchase carefully, tho. My prediction is that as warm weather wanes, windows will start closing, poop will start happening, and shortages / prices will start going back up.
