I had never seen waterlilies in these colors. I was so excited to get the reference photo and couldn't wait to paint these. The water came out a deep rich purple that provides a perfect background. I am so happy to offer prints of this piece.

I began my career as a corporate computer analyst and have now found my bliss. Being an artist is not what I am, but who I am. I love to create vibrant paintings from scenes that I enjoy. I try to interpret my subject, always sharing a piece of myself with the viewer and hopefully continuing to grow and hone my craft. It is wonderful to see the world in a new way full of light and dark, brightness and dullness and hard and soft.
