Every quilt has a story. My Mom once told me that she and my Father quilted this together during their first year of marriage during a cold winter where they had no electricity. I altered the image to reflect on how our lives sometimes unravel over the years. Time and experiences change us ... sometimes for the better, sometimes not. I'm sharing this image of this pieced string quilt, so others may know that all lives matter. We piece together and hang on to hope one small piece at a time. GG
