Haleiwa metal print by Richard Robinson. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

As I stood here painting Aoki's Shaved Ice shop in Haleiwa I spotted this classic combi toodling down main street towards me. I dropped my brushes and grabbed the camera, snapping a quick pick just as it cruised past on the way to check out the surf. I'd only intended to paint the shop but this was even better! I finished the painting of the street then took it back home to add in the Combi van. Moment captured!

About Richard Robinson
Born 1975. Originally a graphic designer, Richard started painting full time in 2001. He is well known in New Zealand for his landscape paintings with much of his work residing now in private and corporate collections worldwide. More recently Richard has become a popular teacher through his instructional videos sold primarily through his teaching website www.livepaintinglessons.com. Richard has been featured in several international arts magazines and in 2012 was the opening speaker for the worlds largest plein air painting convention held in America. Richard is married with two children, now residing in New Zealand.
