Ruins Of A Building On The Islands Of The United K...

THIS CONTEST is to find your best picture of any RUIN OF A BUILDING on any island in waters surrounding the United Kingdom mainland of England, Wales and Scotland. This can be a classic type of ruin such as a castle, or a house left to fall down on its own.....the building can be anything from a cathedral to a barn. It must be UN-INHABITABLE and UN-USEABLE (except for ruins made safe for public visiting as tourist attractions)

NO OTHER ISLANDS IN THE WORLD PLEASE. See the Contest Logo for an example of the style of pictures required for this contest. Please note that images with sloping sea/sky horizons will be removed. (Contest Logo.....The Earl's House, Kirkwall, Orkney Islands)

1. Must be a member of the Islands Of The United Kingdom Group
2. All artwork must be of A RUIN OF A BUILDING and UK Islands related and the information must include THE NAME OF THE ISLAND. If possible, please also include any other geographical information which would be nice too for visitors to read.
3. Your own PHOTOGRAPHS, your own ORIGINAL PAINTINGS, your own ORIGINAL DRAWINGS.....NO DIGITAL ART PLEASE
4. 4 images per artist allowed
5. Any images not meeting the requirements will be removed from the contest
6. NORMAL RULES for the group 'Islands Of The United Kingdom' apply to this contest please – these may be found on the group home page. 
7. Please also submit your contest entries to the sponsoring group for possible future featuring.

Pictures that do not follow the rules of both the contest and the sponsoring group will be removed from the contest.
